The name of a housekeeping value. In XINA, this the mnemonic is a text string and it is associated with several fields such as units, the general measurement type, etc. Mnemonics can have aliases, which are simply alternative names for the same data. 
## Examples
PUMP_CURRENT could be the mnemonic name, units could be "Amps" and the measurement could be "Current".
